The making of Explor.AI - Year two

Sneak peak of the re-invented explor.ai process

It's been a year since I posted an update.

It's not that I don't like sharing.

It's definitely not because I am ashamed of our progress.

I lacked time, and decided to prioritize differently. We had so many projects in the last year that I had to cut down on some things... like my online presence. (I will write a post on that, some errors I made that are worth sharing!)

Thank you to these 33 different clients that trusted us with their A.I. projects. :)

This year we hit many significant milestones :

We grew wider: Our remote first approach aged well.  Our team worked from a multitude of locations (thanks to Xplornet and Airbnb!).
We grew bigger: Our organization reached 11 employees and our community of experts expanded by 50%.
We grew longer: Our range of services has improved, with project duration starting at 20h with an average of 120h per project.
We grew taller: We integrated seamlessly with more tools, and obtained new certifications, such as Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals.

And you know the best thing about this? All of us had a great time building Explorai into the distributed, innovative, high potential organisation that it became.

Oh, and we greatly simplified our mission :

Democratization of Artificial Intelligence.

In the coming weeks, I will post a series of stories that will give you an understanding of what we did in the past 12 months :

  • A small bio of our different experts
  • A series of short project descriptions of what we worked on so far (for those projects that are less sensitive!)
  • A series of posts on how we manage rapidly switching from one project to another
  • Some insider information (our "secret sauce"!)

If you can't wait and want to reach out to us, just hop on a call with of us :
